I've especially enjoyed the last two cartoons by Joel Mielke, aka, Carson Park Ranger, aka, Principal of Carson Park Design, in the North Coast Journal.

The U.S. is an incredibly wealthy country.  We could spend so much more of that wealth on, say, delicious healthy food, art, music, culture, or education, but instead we waste gobs of it on fancy, and usually unnecessary, multi-ton pieces of steel and the fuel to push it around, like this savvy value hunter:
