Have you not been able to stay up to date on recent NCRA rail/trail corridor meetings? Not sure how the NCRA is responding to the committee findings? Perhaps you want to share the info with others, and not sure where the info is on the internet.
Green Wheels has started to compile a list, and we can certainly add more to the list in the future. If you have more media we should add to the list please contact us with the info, and we would be happy to update our list.
A double shot of Green Video Friday. Recently on our facebook page I reported GVF moving to every other week. In response to public outcry we will be retaining GVF on a weekly basis!
How can bicycles contribute to disaster relief? How does volunteering do good things for you, and your community?
Everything we own has traveled many, many miles to reach our hands. Transportation infrastructure plays a critical role in this consumer rich world we live in today. At times though it is important to ask ourselves questions as we consume. Shall we change our consuming habits, and what is the real cost of what we purchase? I hope you may have the time to watch this thought provoking, and fact filled video. This holiday season let's begin with "The story of Stuff", and take a little break from complete streets ideas.
Green Wheels appreciates all the folks who came out to the Historic ride. It was a very well attended tour with over 40 bicycle riders. At the very end of the tour it was getting really foggy, and misty. So it was great to see everyone overcome the weather, and stay so interested in this historical tour! Everyone had nothing, but wonderful things to say about the event. We hope you will all join us at future Green Wheels events!
